Seattle, WA

Met up with the Metro Seattle Gamers that have their own space in a business center. They play games that need to be left setup eg Axis & Allies and other War Games. They also have members who play Euro games :-)

We played 5 player Power Grid with the France map. Ended during Step 2 as we got stuck with low powered plants in the market.

The next day visited http://www.bluehighwaygames.com/ that had tables and chairs in the back of store. Very family friendly setup and another huge library of games to be played in the store.

John taught me The Hanging Gardens. Very interesting game, would play again.

Then we went back to Metro Seattle Gamers HQ.
We played Airships (first time) also a very interesting game that would play again.

Then Endeavor, forgot to take picture.

Charlie this pic is for you - Huge board for Axis and Allies

Thank you Metro Seattle Gamers for your hospitality.

Ashland, Oregon

Drove past a sign that said games and discovered it was the home of http://www.funagain.com/ one of the largest online providors of euro games.

While there I purchased a few games and took advantage of no sales tax. Picked up some "fillers" (short games) for my trip.

I asked the guy what his favorite games was - he said Power Grid. We had a chat about Power Grid and he said hang on I have something for you.....

WOW!!!!!! Look what I have!!!
